Half a camping trip at Hyner Run

Nearly every summer, I get an invitation to speak at a state park. At the moment, my friend is working up at Hyner Run. Hyner Run is beautiful, just off 220 near North Bend, in northern Clinton County and the Elk Country landscape. So in mid-August, my family packed the car and drove up to find our campsite.

2021 Public Lands Ride: Two ways to participate!

The PEC is hosting the 2021 Public Lands Ride at Black Moshannon State Park to celebrate and showcase the wealth of public parks and forests across the Commonwealth, bringing awareness to public lands as an invaluable resource for us to protect and enjoy. The in-person event will take place on October 2nd, 2021, but there are 6 new routes in different state forests to be ridden anytime.
