Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contest underway; submissions due by June 30
Creative entrepreneurs and photographers are invited to submit original photographs and share stories in Susquehanna Greenway Partnership’s 10th annual Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contest!
This free-to-enter photo contest seeks to inspire and celebrate the connections that are shared between communities and the Susquehanna Greenway, which includes both the North Branch and the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. The West Branch runs through the Pennsylvania Wilds. The Susquehanna Greenway corridor includes the river itself as well as the parks, trails, and communities that line the river’s banks.
Cash Prizes will be awarded to the first through third place winners within each category (noted below). Winning images will also be printed, framed, and added to a traveling gallery to be exhibited throughout the Susquehanna regions within Pennsylvania.
With current social restrictions, this is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors through a camera lens. Photographers are asked to respect public parks and trails and to follow the recommended CDC Guidelines while exploring and capturing the beauty of the Susquehanna Greenway.
Contest categories include: Treasured River Towns, Treasured Landscapes, Susquehanna Adventures, and Wildlife.
Deadline for Submissions is June 30, 2021.
Cash Prizes will be awarded in each Category: $150/ $100/ $50. Winning images will also be printed, framed and added to a traveling gallery that exhibits along the Susquehanna Greenway for the following year.
Entering is quick and easy! To enter, click the button below, fill out the form, select your category, agree to the Contest Rules, and upload your photo. A separate entry form must be completed for each photo submission. Don’t forget to include your story along with your picture. Your stories help to bring the photo alive!
