What does summertime feel like to you? Capture those good ole summertime memories… and you could even win some prizes! There are many great places to explore this summer in Pennsylvania’s Great Outdoors region, part of the Pennsylvania Wilds that includes the counties of Cameron, Elk, and Forest. If you capture some of those special summertime memories with a photo while traveling in the PA Great Outdoors region, consider entering it into the latest photo contest.
Whether you live in the region or have taken a photo while traveling here, you’re invited to enter the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau’s Good Ole Summertime Photo Contest!
“Our photo contests are very popular with travelers and locals alike. People are very passionate about spending time outdoors with their family and friends,” said John Straitiff, Executive Director Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau. “This contest gives people the chance to show off their photos highlighting the natural beauty, people, places, and events of the region during summer.”
How to enter
The Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau’s 2024 Good Ole Summertime photo contest runs from July through September 2024.
To enter complete the entry form and upload your photos at VisitPAGO.com/contest. The only requirements are that the photos meet the Good Ole Summertime photo contest theme and must be taken in either Cameron, Elk, or Forest Jefferson Counties.
Voting and prizes
Finalists’ photos for the contest period will be posted online with the four entries receiving the most votes winning the following cash prizes: 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $75, 3rd Place $50, and 4th Place $25.
