In the sleepy mountain town of Mill Hall in Clinton County, along the I-80 Frontier landscape of the PA Wilds, Floating Feather Brewing Company is crafting interesting and tasty beers and ciders that are made from the best local ingredients.
Floating Feathers uses local ingredients, so all of their beers taste like their hometown.
They try to have new beer, cider and hard lemonade options every other week, so that the regulars never get bored and everyone has an option that they will enjoy. Because the ingredients are sourced locally, their seasonal brews focus on flavors that can only be found during that time of the year.
The brews are typically named after places around the Mill Hall area, such as Beech Crick Cream Ale, Mackeyville Milk Stout, Lock Haven Logger, or Swissdale Pale Ale. Other names celebrate the outdoor recreation available along the river, and you can open a can of Whoop-Bass beer while overlooking nearby Fishing Creek.
Flights are also available if you want to taste a few different beers and find your new favorite!
In fact, the brewery style service at Floating Feathers Brewing Company allows you to take your food outside and even cast a line while enjoying your meal. Simply order at the bar, get your beverages, then find a seat inside or outside. You’ll get a text when your food is ready, and you can pick it up in their kitchen window and continue to enjoy quality time with friends and family. You can even bring along Fido, as dogs are welcome outside on the patio (but no pups indoors).
