Brewing in the PA Wilds: Bald Birds Brewing Company
Part of the Brewing in the PA Wilds series
Bald Birds Brewing Company landed in Central Pennsylvania in the fall of 2020, with a brewing in Jersey Shore along the I-80 Frontier landscape of the PA Wilds.
Although Bald Birds started in Audubon, Montgomery County, PA in 2018, the business purchased a 153,000-square-foot warehouse in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, late in 2019 and transformed the former distribution center into a brewery-goer’s paradise.

Bald Birds’ location in Jersey Shore comes with a lot of history too! The warehouse had formerly housed Woolrich products. The location has an industrial feel, with tall ceilings, exposed ducts and large docking doors. The building also gives Bald Birds an impressive amount of space, which they use to their advantage when planning out special events and extra amenities.

The facility is home to a 7,000-square-foot taproom, a 10,000-square-foot wedding and event venue, outdoor seating and gaming areas, two golf simulators, and a 90,000-square-foot production brewery. The brewery has hosted many weddings, receptions and other parties and events.
In fact, Bald Birds Brewing in Jersey Shore was the venue for the 2022 PA Wilds Champion Awards and Dinner!
