Want to know what winter activities are available at your local PA Wilds state park? Or are you searching for an activity like sledding or skiing and want to know which state parks offer that outdoor rec option? There’s an easy tool to help you!

The Pennsylvania state parks winter report allows winter outdoor recreation enthusiasts to monitor snow and ice conditions at state parks.

The winter report is updated weekly (at a minimum) by state parks during the winter season and lists the snow and ice thickness, as well as what activities are available at that park.

The report is searchable by park and by winter outdoor recreation activity.

For example, you can search for a specific park’s conditions if you know that you will be traveling to that area. However, you can also search for any park that has certain activities available, which is handy if you want to go skiing or ice skating but don’t necessarily care which park you go to.

Many parks will also list a phone number you can call for more detailed information about park conditions and activities.
