Lock Haven’s second annual Earth Day celebration will be held in Triangle Park in Lock Haven on Saturday, April 27th, from 11 to 3. The festival, meant to raise awareness about the environment and welcome spring, will include food, live music, speakers, children’s games, interactive activities, educational materials, and representatives from local environmental groups. This year’s event will feature Eric Ian Farmer, musician extraordinaire from State College, and Vicky Schenandoah, member of the Oneida Tribe, who will speak about her Native traditions and lead participants in a traditional Friendship Dance. The event, hosted by the community advocacy group SPARK, is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!
