The Hickory Creek Wilderness: Hike, fish, enjoy

In 1984, the United States Congress designated 8,663 acres in Warren County as the Hickory Creek Wilderness. For hikers, the Hickory Creek Trail, which runs through the wilderness, is a rolling, 12-mile loop of easy-to-moderate difficulty that can be completed in approximately five hours. PA Trout Season Now Open: Anglers must abide by social distancing guidelines

Effective on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC), in consultation with the Office of the Governor, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) opened the statewide 2020 trout season. Anglers and boaters must abide by social distancing guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
