Explore one of the smallest parcels of state forest land in the Pennsylvania Wilds located in Cornplanter State Forest. Learn about forest management practices, tree identification, insects, and diseases while you hike through a working forest on a self-guided tour. Adjacent to the Lashure Trail is the 180 acre Hunter Run Forest Stewardship Demonstration Area, where you can explore ways to become better stewards of forest land. For those seeking a longer hike, Hunter Run and Jamison trails provide 4.3 additional miles of easy trail. Parking available. From Tidioute take US 62 to State Route 36 North. Follow SR 36 north 2.2 miles to Neiltown Road. Bear right on Neiltown Road. Follow Neiltown Road 1.1 miles to the forest maintenance headquarters on your left.
